**disclaimer** I am not Adam, therefore I’m not answering for him. this is strictly my opinion.
I don’t think Adam, himself, has changed. I think us fans tend to get so invested in celebrities lives, that we create this image of them. Have any of us really sat down and talked with him? No, so we don’t really know him.
As far as The Midsummer Station, I think that album turned out so lovely! We now have an album for whatever mood we are in! And who knows, maybe he was/is in a bit of a creative rut right now. Change can be good! :)
Change regarding the tweets, i think his tweets are absolutely hilarious! and you can’t take everything too seriously on there. I mean you only have 140 characters to write something. He’s just joking around. :p
All in all, Adam is an incredible guy who has his heart in the right place, and I really think he needs more encouragement from us! I mean we all know that he is constantly lurking in the tags, so instead of hating on a tweet or a song he’s done, why don’t don’t we encourage him instead? :D We are lucky to have someone like him who interacts with his fans as much as he does.
